Episode: a leap

Today, Edwin came over to check on how I was doing. We met at ThaiExpress for a lunch meeting. Gabriel and Wendy were Edwin's junior in NUS, so it was like a reunion and they seem to have a lot to share among each other.

I know I should not eat this, but I just ate it. I have no idea what is this, but it is something like beef Kuay Teow.

After the lunch meeting, Edwin came over to look at my workspace and before he left, he signed my logbook. Then, we carried on with our work. I did some sanding to remove some lacquer on a piece of wooden furniture. It took me until the end of my work.

The awesome part of today was a message from my lecturer. He asks if I could bear the rest of the cost to go Milan if SP were to give me a grant. I replied yes before my parent's consent. I messaged my parents after that and they said it was alright. Soon, I received the OTIP form. I filled it up and printed it. I stated there that I would be going to Milan for 10 days, from 19th April to 28th April. The rest of the Outofstock team would be going there two days before me, so when I arrive, I would have to find them there.

It would be fun and an experience that is very useful to me, but I would have to be independent in a foreign country find my way there on my own and that is a bit scary. I am letting my parents sign it now. Hopefully everything would go well. Milan, here I come!
