Today starts with the intercons soccer competition. The first match was SPSU vs SMIT. The match ended 10-0 to SPSU. I was not sure what was the exact score, because the goals are like the points on Who's line is it anyway. Next was our match. SD vs MM. I played right midfield position. Well we scored first, then they equalised. At 1-1, we scored two more. Soon after, the replied with two of thier own. Almost the end of the first half, one of my team mate got sent off and we were down to 10 men. We did fought a goal back, but the linesman flagged offside. It should have been a goal, the refferee did not say anything and the spectators even thought that it was a goal. The linesman's decision was greeted with alot of curses. It was a great ball from Kah Hui to me. I controlled the ball and then passed it forward to Justin who finished it. Nothing was wrong, except for the blind linesman. The second half, I had to take two positions(righ back and righ midfield) as we were already down to 10 men and there was a gap on righ back. It was very tiring. In the end, MM got an undeserving goal. It eventually put them through. The final score was 4-3 to MM.

After that, Kah Hui, Shah and myself went swimming at school. Only after that we bathed before going to eat at KFC. Got to the studio to do work and more work for the rest of the day.

We did as much as we could.

In the end, Ivan and myself was the last to leave the studio. It was 9pm then. The whole SP was deserted. Why? Because everybody else was at Timbre for Oops!. SP is really scary at night. Got home, I still continue doing more work.

Episode: take time

This happened yesterday. Went to school at around 8am. Got to the workshop and the item that was sent for laser cutting the day before(8pm), was still cutting. My goodness, the file took almost 12hours to complete. This had made my lecturer to change his mind. Now, anybody who is cutting 1cm thickness would not be allowed to cut. It just takes too long.

Ivan and myself was just at the workshop doing some acrylic pasting. It was interesting to see the effects of the acrylic glue on the brush.

At 12pm, there was this talk about going to Dalian Polytechnic University. It was such a waste of time and I was about to be late for prayers if I don't leave. I did leave at around 12.45pm or so.

After Friday prayers, I got back to the studio for a while and then went back to the workshop. I do not quite remember doing anything else except to do work. At 9, I went home. I got home, I was both physically and mentally tired, so I got to sleep at around 12+.

Episode: here and back again
Thursday, January 29, 2009

The first thing that I did when I came to the studio was to chill. Ivan came late to school, so I took the time to watch something on Youtube. Then he came while I am watching the video. Only after I finished watching I came and help him do this. Our Model.

All of these I pasted.

All the way did the model, but then it was LEGO time. This time we got our LEGO box in and Wong helped us to get the dimmer, as well as the bulb. Thanks Wong!

Then we realised that there are other stuff that we need. So while Ivan was setting up the files to cut later, I go and buy the materials. I had only $2 in my wallet and I know that my dad had just placed $50 in my room, so I went home to get it before going to buy the materials. On the way home, I coincidentally met my gal. I was really glad to see her. I guess that this would be the first time this happened. So, we went home together. After taking the money, I went out towards Dhobby Ghaut.

First, I went to the Peace Center to get some stuff(secret). Then I was off to Laselle Art Friend. I was rushing for time, as I want to get back to the studio in time for Glenn's presentation. As I rushed back, I noticed that the all important acrylic glue was not inside my plastic bag. So, I called the Art Friend to ask if I could take the item later at around 5pm and they said alright.

I even bought myself some food as I knew if I don't, I won't be eating.

Venkat's class was next. I was really upset to see the class ignoring the guy giving his lecture. Since I had to rush back to the Art Friend to take the item that was left there, while the lecture was on going, I was eating(kill two birds with one stone). Usually, I don't do this. Then, ran off back to the Art Friend.

I was there at around 5+. The people there still remember who I am. I bought other things as well, as I forgot to purchase them earlier. Then I got out of the place. While walking away, I though, "Would this(the materials) be enough?" So, walked back to Art Friend and bought a couple more. By this time the cashier had seen me three times already.

Off to workshop. There, I took a rest. From 12.30pm untill 6pm, I have been rushing from Dover to home, from home to Dhobby Ghaut, from Dhobby Ghaut to Studio, from studio to Dhoby Ghaut again and then to workshop.

The last trip that I took was the trip from workshop to home. That was around 9.30pm. I got home, the first thing I did was to eat. I was really hungry. Then did my work. Only at 2am+, I got to sleep. We planned to overnight in school tomorrow. Hopefully with it, we could complete our model my Sunday.

Episode: letting it go
Wednesday, January 28, 2009

Back to school after a 'so called' holiday. Ivan and myself got ready all the files to be sent and cut at the laser printer. We know that the DID students will be hogging the place soon. Actually, some of them did it today.

First, Rui Hon was using the laser printer, the 3D printer, and event the CNC machine. He crazy or what. Then, before Glenn, Ivan and myself went for lunch, we manage to cut the mirror piece of our exhibition. It gave out such a bright light.

After that, I went off for GEMs. After GEMs, my gal asked me out. Even though I was busy, I told her that I am not. Ivan did warn me about the time that we have left and I know that, but I miss my gal and I want to see her badly.

Then I left for Popular at Jurong East, she wanted to buy a fulscap paper, so I accompanied her. After that, we went home. I though to myself, "Is this how I want to spend what little time I have with my gal?" So, I called her house after she did not pick up her phone(low battery or something). I asked her out. I just want to spend more time with her and only her. After a while we settled to meet at around 6.30pm.

I got back to the workshop and after wasting time waiting for the DID students to cut out their stuff, we finally got to cut out ours.

Before it could finish cutting, I left to meet my gal. We met at Jurong East and then made our way to Jurong Point. The place had gone through a lot of changes since I last visited the place. Well, we were there discovering the place and watched the 7pm show on Channel 8. My gal brought along her brother's China phone, the one with the TV. When it was commercial time, she shared with me the times she had with her family when at Melaka.

After watching the show, we ate. Well, I was the one eating, my gal was just there having her drink.

Then at around 9.30pm we made a move home. I know that I would miss her for the course of my assignment(I will be very busy), and I am already missing her as she just came back from Melaka so I decided not to leave without giving her a hug. I held her tight in my arms knowing that we would meet on rare occasions.

When I got home, I got good news. See below? Hehe. I am so glad to have it. Syukur Alhamdullillah... All my hard work, being appreciated.

Got up at 1pm. Finally having a good long sleep during these holidays. I was doing my work when my parents asked me and my sister out. We went bowling. It had been quite some time since I last bowled.

Well, I did quite well. It was one of my best scores. Had such fun. After that went home.

While watching TV, I did what I could until I felt that it was time to sleep. And it is now.

Episode: Not Singapore / Happy Chinese New Year
Monday, January 26, 2009

It is suppose to be a short holiday, but my mom woke me up at 9am. I have not had enough sleep yet and my body is starting ache due to Friday's shopping and yesterday's soccer game. Dragged myself to the bathroom and got ready to go out. There was my mom, and both of my sisters. Where did we go? Well here. My mom had been here before, but for my sisters and myself it was our first time.

Well, the place was like Botanic Gardens, but it seemed much nicer. The interesting part is where we go to enter a house. The house was meant to entertain us with all the greenery. It was a very interesting concept.

It was really a house.

Walked a long way to see everything here.

We were tired, but that was only the beginning of the day. We also wanted to go to Henderson Waves, so we walked up the bridge.

Another first for me.

The view from up there was great, but the view from above looking down was even more exhilarating. Look at how high I am. Nice.

After a 2.4km walk, we reached the place.

Well, other then the view, it was like another place but with the wooden waves.

It was like the Great Wall of China.

See the coloured path? Well, we started from Hortpark and by the end of today, we want to go to Harbour Front for our lunch, so we had to cover the whole distance of the pathway. Tired already man.

We just carry on.
Interesting places. It does not look like Singapore at all.
Except for the old HDB flats from the view.

The pathway led us here.

The Jewelry Box. I guess this is where you take the Cable car ride.

I thought that we were near Vivo, because we had walked for almost three hours or so. In order to get to Vivo City, the last place we had to walk through was ( I forgot the name of the place). Saw some funny signs.

Walk again.
Then came to a familiar place. This arch. Then I remembered, the last time(which was my first time) here was when I was doing my group assignment using DSLR to take pictures. My group was with Saf, Cindy and Jazz.

There was Vivo.
We did not go inside Vivo for our lunch, as we knew that the Banquet and the rest of the Halal stalls were closed due to the festive holidays. Instead, we had our lunch at the food court. To our shock, we saw a lot of Bangladeshi workers taking the Sentosa bus. There was a very long and thick queue.

Look at this. I heard the the eclipse was suppose to come at around 4pm, but at 1.30pm, it seemed that the eclipse came early. Those Bangladeshi eyes were looking at us as we walk past them and squeezed our way through to the food court.

Singapore had truely changed. Chinese Nationals, Bangladeshis, Indonesians, Burmese and many more come here to invade Singapore. It seems today their mission was to invade Sentosa.

Looked for a seat. Even after we ate, the crowd of Bangladeshi workers were still queueing up to get to Sentosa. This was really a full scale invasion.

I do not know what it is, but the train stations were packed too. Maybe it was a Harbour Front New Year.

My body is still aching, but I can bear with it. I am just waiting someone to give me a massage. Hehe.. I did went straight to sleep after watching some shows on TV. At night, went down to eat dinner.

Episode: bloodless
Sunday, January 25, 2009

Got up early on a Sunday. Got out with my mom at around 9am or so. We went to HSA to donate blood. It was 8th time donating blood. After donating blood, I really feel that I needed to hydrate myself.
After that, my mom went to IKEA to buy some stuff, while I went to Ivan's house to do work. Then after doing work, went to my grandma's house to meet up with my cousins. We planned to go play soccer at FICO at 8pm, so I decided to go with my cousins. It was awesome that my cousins bought PS3 and got the Guitar Hero World Tour. I tired the console out, but I played a different game. I tried out Little Big Planet. The game is great!

At 7.30pm, we took a cab there. Well, we had to wait almost half an hour to get a cab. By the time we reached FICO, it was 8.20pm. Those 20 minutes wasted. Anyways, I had an awesome time there with them playing soccer.

When I got home, my head was spinning as I got car sick from my dad's car. By the time we got home, I burped a lot. Before going home, we ate dinner at Alif. When we got home, I entered my room and noticed these. These were Birthday Presents from my aunt. I got a shirt.

And a Fedora(sorry if wrong spelling).

Thank you! I like it a lot, especially the shirt.
