Episode: out and about

Got up very early today. Then, my family and I crossed the border.


All to get to here. Well, somebody in my family is getting married. I always do not know who are the people getting married. Anyways, there are food.

There were lots of people there. You would always expect a reception like this during these events.



After which, we went to this new mall. We just got to know about the mall today on the way towards the wedding. So, we visited the mall in curiosity.

Bought some desserts and then walked around some more.


We spent a lot of time here, at the VCD shop. We bought some new movies and some favourites.

We ended our trip there with a meal at Vivo. We just want to try it out.





It seems that people can park their shopping carts at the restaurant itself.

The food was great. Everything that we ordered were shared. The baked fish spaghetti was very delicious.

Ordered Pizza.

And some BBQ chicken. Nice!

I actually have a soccer match at school today. I need to reach there at 4pm, but I left my house at 4.45pm. On the way out, I saw this. An accident! Awesome! Took a picture and left. I am not that kepo.

Got to school at 5+. The match have not started yet. 10 minutes later, it was kick off time. I played during the second half. Well, it went this way. We scored first, and then it all went their way. After they took the lead, they score two more. In the end, we managed to get one more goal. So, in the end, the final score was Sports club 4-2 School of Design. I had three clear chances, I missed all of them. The first one was when the ball was right in front of me, but somehow when I swing my foot at it, all I got was air. The second one was when the keeper was out of position, though I did not favour my left foot, but I just kicked the ball using my left foot. It almost went in, but by that time, the keeper saved it. The third one came during a corner kick, the ball suddenly landed behind me, I left it for Shah, but he left it for me, in the end it was cleared away. Damn it man, I should have taken all of those golden opportunities. Anyways, even though we lost, I think we did a good job.

It was slightly slippery, as it was drizzling during the match.

Then, I went home with Marvin and Rolesta. Reached home at around 8pm. Got home and relaxed for the last time. As Ivan and myself will embark on the new assignment on Monday. Come on bro! I'll give my all at this final group assignment. I do not have my CCA, SP Star, and more to distract me. So, lets do this thing! YAAAA!!

Episode: stone

I plan to stone at home today, but my parents brought me along to the new mall. It was like this, I was at home playing some games, when my mom asked me to come along to fetch her and my sister from my grandmother's house with my dad. My dad drove us to my grandmother's house and then after picking them up, we went to West Coast Plaza.

After parking the car, we head down to the BBQ Chicken. I already know what to order later.

But then, we checked out the outlet weather it is Halal or not, the person said that the paper works have not been done yet and it will take some time. Aww man! Then we went somewhere else to eat. We went from here to

here.

We just ate this. Lots of rojak.

After that, went home. Reached home and then just played games for the whole day. Tomorrow I guess would be my last day of my so called resting day. How badly I wished that I could spend it with my gal. But it seemed impossible now. She would be having her MST for the whole of next week and needs time to study. My new assignment have already started, and I can only afford to slack for tomorrow. For the rest of my holidays until it is time for Internship, I will be busy, very busy. This really sucks.

Episode: loser

Got to school. Passed up the expensive booklet to my lecturer. I did work hard at this assignment. With the help of my group members, we handed in what I would call a two people work. When my group members went to the URA for the prize giving ceremony, I had to go to the convention centre for SP Star. There I heard that the winners are Ivan, Alvin and Rui Hon. My group did not get anything. We lost out to them.

Anyways I was at the convention centre from 9am onwards.

They were only starting to set up the place.



I went up the place to see the place from above.

After a short rehearsal, I saw the make up stuff being prepared. It was very weired to be doing make up, as I never wear make up before.

Then, the malay guys went to the mosque to pray. Wan's cousin drove us there and back to SP. We were finally given food. All that we got is this. It is rice hotdog and vegetables. It was very dry and not nice. We even had to pay $2 for it.

It was soon make up time.

I am contestant number 11. Had to have the sticker on while performing.


We were a crazy batch of people singing and making a lot of noise and taking pictures all backstage. It was awesome when we all sang together. We automatically harmonize.

At around 6+, the performance began. Azhari was 1st.

Lam Lam next.

Followed by Johnadeb.

Mr. Leong.

Wan.

Miao Miao.

Afiq.

Aidil.

Candy.

Fazli.

Myself and then Fiza.

Ming hui.

And ending up with Zara.

We had our own SP Star booklet. With all our pictures inside. Cool or what?


I performed soon. Let me describe what was happening while I was performing. I sang Cinta Arjuna/ Tong Hua. A half Malay half Chinese song with the same melody. I came up to stage, sang and while I was singing, I could hardly see the audience because of the spotlight. It was all well when I came to this Malay part that I could almost reach the pitch. I heard the audience said "Ooo", then my concentration to my lyrics was not there and I lost it for while. When to the Chinese part, I just played safe and did not even try to hit the high notes, as I do not want to break my voice. When it was over, I was relieved.

As backstage, we got food. Only now we got food. We were all very hungry, we finished the whole plate.

It was soon break time, and time to meet up with my fans and also time to vote. The voting box looked like this. Soon I found out that my sister collected my gal's voting ticket and put it all in Aidil's box. I am sad to find it out, as I did not have my gal's vote.

Anyways, the place was crowded and the food was not enough. Many did not get to eat.

These are a few who came to support me. Venkat, my lecturer also came down to watch me perform. It was awesome!


Then when we got back, I saw the trophies and prizes. It looks great! I want a hand on one of it.

Soon it was time for the results. We were lining up just next to the stage.

Soon, they announced the winner for the most popular contestant. It was Aidil definitely, as he stole a lot of votes. The third placing went to Johnadeb, second was Aidil and the winner was Ming Hui from School of Business. He was shocked to hear the news as backstage all the time, he though that he did not perform well as he kept complaining that he could not hear the feedback and thus could not reach the high notes.


The hall was shone brightly.

The winner stood up on this to collect his prize.

We all took a lot of pictures before we were given the thumbs up to go home. When going home, my gal's parents came to fetch us up. In the end, my gal was the one who drove us home. It was my first time seeing her driving. I may say that she is good at driving.

Got home, removed the make up and talked to my gal on the phone. Tomorrow is the only day that I am free, as Sunday and for the rest of the week I am continuing on my portfolio in search for my ITP company, my new major project and my laptop needs to be fixed. I though of going out with my gal, but it seemed impossible as she will be having her MST for the whole of next week. She needs time to study.

Now, I really really need a rest. The last assignment left me tired, and efforts wasted as our group did not get anything out of the hundreds of dollars forked out. The SP Star, my gal's vote went to Aidil. So just imagine my voting box, I only have my five classmates and some of my takraw friends votes. Their votes was not a huge as my gal's vote, and I did not get hers. I am really really sad to know about this. Now, I need to go out to relax, but the person who I want to go out with is busy, so I guess there is no rest for me. Guess life sucks for me now.
