Episode: the day my laptop officially died

This happened on 5th March(Thurday). The first thing that I did when I came to work is to get out to Kelantan lane to buy some screws and washers for the Naked chair(an Outofstock product). We went around searching for the most suitable ones. Wanted to get those white rubber washers. When we asked around, it seems that nobody in Singapore does it. When all hope was almost lost, we found this shop that speciallise at doing such stuff. All we need to do is to order and it would be ready about an hour and a half time.

Gabriel needed to be at EXPO to get queued up for the photo-taking session for the furniture design competition held at EXPO. But before that he had to return some sample back to a shop. He drove us to the shop and told me to return the samples and make my way back to the shop to collect the rubber washers, while he queue up for the furniture design competition's photo-taking session. I was left here to make my way there.

I hardly know the place. With my laptop on my back and the hot weather, I made my way to a location where I hardly know where it is. I relied on my memory to find the place. While I was walking, I discovered the awesome pasar lane. It was my first time there. The place have a lot of cool stuff.

Anyways, I was walking and walking when I finally found the Kelantan lane. I walked ahead to check weather the place was infront, but in the end I had to head back to where I was as I had past it. Got the washers soon after and then I had to walk to Bugis MRT. I was very tired after the long walk that on the way back to Gabriel's place, I took a nap.

I was back at his place after a while. Gabriel was not there yet. An hour later, he arrived and we went for lunch. The lunch I had was Chicken Murtabak at the infamous RK eating house(due to the NO PORK video at youtube). Had the biggest Murtabak of my life. Then, Gabriel and Wenday had to go for the photo-taking session and as for me, at 6pm, I had to go to Peace Center to print the boards for presentation of the furniture design award on the next day. The dropped me at Haugang MRT and I made my way to Master Colour.

The printing finished at around 8+, and by that time, Gabriel and Wendy was on the way to pick me up and take a look at the board. Then, we head to Gabriel's house and picked up his gal and went to AMK hub to eat. When we arrived there, they were quite shocked that there were hardly any Halal food stalls. I just bought a Kebab there and had dinner with them at Pepper Lunch.

I got home after the dinner, I wanted to blog about today but when I switched on my laptop, it only gave me a lighted black screen. I tried to reboot it again and agian, but all my efforts doesn't seem to bring anywhere. My laptop officially died today. I was going to sleep when my sister came into my room and chat with me. In the end, I slept at 4.30am.
