Presentation day!
Got to school early today even though my presentation is around 10.45am. There would definitely be some sort of set up. Went to school with my gal, then head off to the studio. The first thing when I came in the studio was to carry our model to the room. Then, sent my lecturer our fonts, as we use a different font for our presentation. Got into the room and this was what it looked like. Models here and there.

This was the presentation line up.

This was our model.

When it was presentation time. Nerves as usual. I did messed up a bit but it was alright I guess. The one part that I was not satisfied was when the client keep saying it is not practical. I do not know why, but we did our studies, research and much more and had implemented it all in our exhibition, but still he says its not really saying the brand. Maybe I am not used to this, I do not know, but what I know is that the client do not want to take risks. He wants a new experience, but do not want to take the risk to do so.

Actually, Ivan and myself would already know that this would happen. With our experience with clients, they always decide the ideas that they already have in mind. Most of the time, clients will always bring up this question. Is it practical? If it is, then they would choose the design. But what they do not know is that, by having such a practical thinking, it restrict ideas and in the end, the ideas are no different from the previous product. No wonder its hard to come up with an idea that both you and the client would like. The consumers(especially in Singapore) are not ready just yet.

Then, head off to the mosque. Before that, I met Yuni. He then invited me to ride on his motorcycle with him to the mosque. It was great! He rode quite alright. Got home, ate and then slept.

Still got some mini works left. So, at night after having dinner at the restaurant just below my house, I checked the assignment at the BlackBoard. Out of nowhere, I took a look at the SP video. Guess what? I am in it. Look. With my group members Lee Peng and Carolyn.

Ok, time to sleep! It 2am already.
