Episode: get it done

3 days to submission.
This happened on 2nd February (Monday). Started of another piece of our model. Well, I spent quite some time fitting the cloth that my mom helped me do, into the mirror. It was backbreaking task. There were frills left on the cloth, so for quality check, I have to take time to trim it all out. Once it is done, I felt quite relieved.

Today, we get to cut out the memory pillow to find out what kind of foam it is. I was the one who cut it out and what we saw was plenty of small pieces of the foam. We bought it for $40 and that was inside? Quite disappointing. Ivan fitted the foam into a board to form the floor simulation of out design exhibition.

For the model, we took out the pillow's thin layer of foam, cut to the desired shape and then pasted it down using double-sided tape. Trim it down for quality check.

Then, we placed the electronics on the bottom of our model to further enhance and explain our concept. We fitted in a fan and a light. We then found out that we need the floor to do such. In the end, we conquered the whole stretch of the flooring. Not only that, we did or work basically everywhere around the place. The tables that were around us we all used up by us. A total of six tables and the stretch of the flooring were out work space.

Ivan did up the structure and we placed it into position.

This was the cashier counter that my mom help make. Nice!

We had to test if the mirrors that we made is able to blow out wind after we pasted it down. It could not have done so, if we had not raised up the platform.

Went home quite late today, feeling quite tired. Ivan gave me a few tasks. I had to print out the logo onto the cloth, make out the gondola cloth, 3D rendering and do the CMF. I guess that it was around 9+ I got home. I quickly had my parents help to do some of the tasks, because I have no ability to do the printing and the stitching. My dad helped in the printing and my mom helped in the gondola cloth.

These were the finishing part of the brochure front page. I wanted to continue doing my work (CMF and 3D rendering), but I cannot leave my parent unsupervised. I had to make sure that my dad printed enough pieces and if it is at the right position and my mom if it is done correctly. By the time those two task completed, it was 2am. I would like to thank my parents for their help. They were very supportive.

At 2am, while I was adjusting the 3D modelling, I fell asleep. I was too tired. In the end, even the CMF and the 3D rendering was not done.
