Do you believe in bad luck falling on this day?(Friday 13th) Well, today's post is about it. I got locked out of my house this afternoon. Yup, it was kind of stupid of me, but that is what happened.

It all began yesterday. Remember Shah's handphone? I had to return it to him right? Anyways, after prayer's(at home), my dad told me to water the plants. I said that only after I had given Shah his handphone I would do so. I remember that I had opened the windows for ventilation.

I went out and arrived at the MRT first and waited for Shah. I saw my dad making his way to work(he must have closed and lock the windows). Then, after giving Shah his handphone, I went home. Knowing that I had to water the plants, I kept my house gates open(take the keys out of the lock and took it with me) while I fill the bucket with water. I went up my room to keep the keys. Then, I went to tend to the bucket of water. I took out my phone(battery life 10%, as I did not charge the day before)and let it play some music while I water the plants.

While I was watering the plants, the wind blew and closed the door. Immediately, I was locked out. At 3pm, I was looking at this, trying to figure out a way to get in without the house keys.

First, I tried to get in by the window. But since my dad went to work that afternoon while I was out, he had locked it. I have no intention to climb up to my room window, as it was too dangerous. With no way in, I called my younger sister. She had finished class, but was at City Hall at the moment, enjoying her time. The rest of my family is working and won't be back untill around 6pm. I called my elder sister, she is working. I know that my mom works too. My dad is working, but I know that he could come by for a while to give me his keys, but I did not want him to know about the situation. My handphone's battery life was dying, so I limit my calls and SMSes.

I called my gal. I asked her if I could come over to her house for the moment. Well, she tried to ask her parents if I could come to her house and wanted to give me money to go to my grandma's house. I prefer the first option, but I knew that it was unlikely. The second option was totally out. So, I just decided to spend the next three hours wondering around. But then, my dad called me(thanks to my elder sister) to go collect the keys from him. He was laughing at me on the phone.

As I messaged my gal that my dad was giving me his keys, she replied that her parents had just given me the green light to enter her house(What luck). My dad soon arrived and gave me the keys.

If
1) Shah had not lost his phone, I would not have gone out for that moment
2) I have not gone out for that moment, my dad would not have locked the windows
3) my dad had not lock the windows, I could get into the house without the use of the keys
4) I had left the keys on the lock instead of putting it in my room, I would not get locked out
5) I had put a stopper on the door, the wind would not have pushed it to close
6) I had charged my handphone battery, I would not have to limit my calls(for help)
7) my elder sister had not called my dad, I would still be wondering around/stayed at my gal's house
8) my younger sister went home straight after class, none of this would happen
9) I had chosen to water the plants 1st instead on meeting Shah, then I would not have to tend to the garden after my dad left for work(with locked windows)

Then, I realised that it was Firday 13th. Is it bad luck?
