Episode: 24 not enough

Wondering where I was? Well, I have not been blogging these few days. Take a look at the past 4 posts. I have been really busy.


SUBMISSION DAY
Continuing from 12 midnight yesterday..the whole studio was left for us to use. Everybody seemed to go home when it was around 11pm. This was how empty the studio was.

Other than completing the model, we did finish up the IDT part of out assignment. At around 1am, we completed the model and then took pictures of it. It was important as we need the pictures to be placed in the booklet(yet to be done).

At 2am, we left for Bras Basah's McDonald's. Took the cab there. Ivan paid for the trip as I was completely broke. The McDonald's at Bras Basah was different. Look.

It was mush more exclusive with the furniture it has and the overall layout of the place.

Here, we did up the booklet. Well, actually Ivan was the one who is doing the booklet. I had to provide him with a few pages of it. Unfortunately, the whole McDonald's area even though it was nice, there was only one power output. At that time, there was someone using it, so while we were doing our work, our battery went dead(well only mine).

Only at around 7am, we completed the booklet. I can see that we were really tired, especially Ivan. He tediously photoshop each and every page of the booklet. Look outside, the sun is rising! Oh my goodness, we did stay overnight and spent hours and hours on our work. I cannot belive it, we were nearing completion.

Left the place at around 8am. Made our way to Peace Center.

We were there to print out our booklet and other stuff. Even the shops have not opened yet.

We start printing at 9am, completed at 10+. John, Carolyn and Wen Zhen was there this morning. How much was the total printing cost? See? $109!! With that, I calculated the amount of money spent for the whole assignment by both of us is a whopping $322. No wonder I am broke now.

Got back to the studio for some touching up before we submit everything. Took the bus back to studio. It was a good thing, as we took a well deserved nap on the bus.

Studio was still filled with people doing their model and other works. Ivan and myself touched up the report and the model. Ivan went home after polishing the model, I am still at the studio doing up the powerpoint presentation for submission. The submission was before 8pm I guess. I did not really take note because we submit our stuff at 4+pm. We had to submit the powerpoint, the two booklets, the 3 pictures and pages of the booklet. Ivan and myself were the first to submit everything as we really did complete everything. I hope we are not the only ones, I hope the class submit on time for the presentation tomorrow. Another submission was the History and Theory of Design booklet. It needed to be submitted today before 6pm. I hope Rui Hon(a group member) does submit it on time.

After the submission, there was relief. I felt free. All our sacrifices, gave us an on time submission. Then, I got home. Reached home at around 6pm. The first thing that I did was to eat and eat. Even while eating, I felt like sleeping. Right after eating, I slept. I only woke up at 11pm. That was when my called me up. I wanted to get back to sleep, but I needed to discuss with Ivan about the presentation tomorrow and I need to send him the powerpoint as well. Blogged after that. I am still hungry. Hopefully tomorrow we would do our best for the presentation. Lets give out best. Afterall, we are Aidie and Ivan.
