Got to school early in the morning. My class was at the MM area, so I had to walk just like going to the business block. I noticed something different when I walk there now. The air was much more cleaner. I could brethe freely again. The reason was that there are no more smokers smoking just outside SP due to the new law. I prefer it this way. I know plenty of you guys do to. Right?  Anyways, I was the first to reach my class. But in the end, we were brought down to the Prototyping Centre. We get to learn and try out on one of the Rapid Prototyping Machine. The machine that my group tried was the Eden350. Can you see the small cartriage that is being held? If that thing gets spoilt, it will cost US$20000 for a replacement. It was a very expensive machine, but the results that the machine gave was great. It did half of my Communication Device2 for about an hour. Compared to the CNC machine in our workshop which did a three hour work to complete the whole thing. What was much better was that you can straight away spray paint the product after taking it out the machine, while a CNC machine requires you to sand the product and then spray paint it. After the class, we head down to SPinnovex to check it out, but it only opened at 12pm. When it was around 1, Ivan and myself go check it out. I looked around the place and I do agree that they are great works, but it all seem and looks the same(all machanical stuff). Well, our booth was the unique one. Just look at it. My beverage product with my group was exhibited there. It was really a good thing for us. Just imagine, SPinnovex are for final year students to exhibit their works, but us being a second year students already got this opportunity. I am very glad.  My name together with my group member's name was there on the board. Cool. We came to just look around. Even in the SP School of Design and SPinnovex contains our work. Even though there were the Open House and JAE and SPinnovex, we had classes. It has been a while since Venkat was here in the studio. After that, I head down to the notebook self help at T147.. I neeeded to reformat my laptop. Before that, I had to sign this form, The reformatting beings at 4.30pm. Stephanie and her friends were there too. They need to reformat too. Have you ever notice why sometimes Internet Explorer 7 colses after starting? Well, it is simply due to the comflict with Windows Live Toolbar. All you have to do is to delete Windows Live Toolbar.  For this to run, I had to wait for about 2 1/2 hours. In the meantime, Steph switched on her laptop and switched on Incredible Tales. She and a few of her friends subscribed to it. It is good for a long wait like this. After everthing is done, this desktop was shown. WOW, it had really been quite sometime ago that I had this wallpaper. Only at around 6+, we completed the whole thing. I went home after that. The first thing that I did to my laptop when I got home was to download the new MSN Messenger. It was much more user friendly.
