Episode: just my parents, my brother and myself
Saturday, January 24, 2009

I was not sure what time we went out today, but I guess it was around 1pm. There was my parents and my sister with me in the car. We picked up my brother at my grandmother's house and head off to eat. A few minutes later, we reached the place.
Woohoo! Arnold's man!! This was my second time here. I can hardly remember when was my first visit here.

From what I heard that the chicken here is very delicious. Well, it sure look like normal, but when you have a bite at it, it shows off its deliciousnes.

We ordered quite a lot. Two spring and 5 smaller pieces of Arnold's fried chicken. Hehe..here is my brother eating the chicken whole. You should try it. The chicken is way better than KFC's or even Popeye's. Where is it? Well, I am not sure myself..hehe.

We were left quite full after the meal. Then, we walked around fo a while. Saw this. A Bollywood Heroes. I wonder if they really follow the actual Heroes. This may just be the new season(in Hindi/Tamil).

Then, we sent my sister off to her Chingay rehearsal. After that went down to East Coast Park for a picnic. Set up the tent and all.

While my parents take a rest, my brother and I wondered off.

Went to Parkway Parade. It was my first time there.

There, we just wondered around in search of some stuff. My brother was helping me look for a bag for my camera, but after spending quite some time there, we could not find any. In the end we got a 2G SD card and a notebook cooling pad.

Walked back to East Cosat Park and got in the 7-11. Bought around $17 worth of stuff. That provided my brother with three Hello Kitty stickers. Now reached 5 stickers, he could get a Hello Kitty toy for a cheaper price. If he gets 5 more stickers, he could redeem it with a free one. But he didn't in the end.

Got back to the tent and had beef jerkey. My first time having one of these, well it was alright.

Left East Coast Park at 7+, then went to Vivo City.

It was my brother's plan. To come to Toy's R Us.

He wanted to buy one of these. It was at half price. Then he offered me to get another one since it is at half price. So, I got the plain white one. My brother got the red. I never had these toys before, so it was kind of cool to have my brother get it for me. Hehe..thanks bro!

My lecturer asked the class to go visit the new National Grographic shop in one of his sms. So, today was one of the days that I happened to be there, so I took a look there.

The place was very spacious. I was there to understand the concept of the shop.

The thing I find interesting was this ice-box. People crowd around this place and touched it to try and feel the cold temperature inside, but you can hardly feel the difference. After a while, I feel that it was kind of stupid to crowd around something that is empty inside.

The stuff there was very expensive. After a while I understood the concept of the shop. It was something like a museum. From the materials that the shop plays around with to the things they sell, it is all about selling a natural history.

The people play apart in the experience. The shop does not have a 'No Taking pictures' sign. What this does was to encourage people to take pictures with flash. Adding on to its black walls, the flashes of light is able to bounce around the place to really give 'you are at the museum' kind of feel.

After that, we went home. On the way home in the car, I assembled the Clone Trooper helmet. It was really cool to wear it. One negative thing was that, I was having car sick while assembling the helmet. Hehe.. Reached home at around 10+.
