It was a Sunday morning, yet I woke up at around 9 am to get here. It was for the 50+ exhibition.    When I enter the hall, this was what it looked like on the left. And on the right. It was cool that they colour coded the floor to indicate which section belonged to which section. Our section was in red. At that time, Lee Peng and Wee Tyng was on duty. This was new when I came. It is actually, the voting numbers for each product. Everybody had the choice to vote which one they think is a good idea. Jazz's needle(number 3) had the most votes. These were the few works that was exhibited. Our works are placed next to NUS designs and Red Dot designs.  My product has a place all on its own.  Me and my product. This was when people want to vote. There was this area for Temasek Polytechnic. It was >60. They set up this interactive game. Lee Peng and Wee Tyng had fun playing them.  Had to wear this around my neck to signify that I am one of the exhibitors. We were basically there to introduce all our works to those people who visited our booth. Most of the time we had to repeat what we had said. Some wanted to know if the products are out in the market, while others really wanted to buy them. At 12pm Gurmit and Rahimah Rahim were on stage. Gurmit was hosting, while Rahimah Rahim performed. Soon, Zhai Wei and myself had lunch at Marina Square's LJS. While mostly a lot of 50+ people came, there were a few from NTU(the gut below), from the media and even designers from elsewhere. Other that that, my gal came. It was sweet of her. Soon, I took her around for a walk. Then, my mom called me and asked me where I am as she ad arrived at the booth. So, I asked my gal to meet my parents, but as usual it was unlikely. She went home while I got back to the booth. When there is nobody at our booth, we goof around.    But when there is a crowd of people, we are very busy. At 5pm, Suhaimi was at the stage to host. There was also a line dancing area. What was very interesting was that they all knew the steps. They must be regulars. I managed to get a picture of Suhaimi when he was walking around the place, but he was with two strangers.  How about food? Well, we were given coupons to redeem for snacks.  At night, at 9pm, we packed up and had a fast food dinner.  I had the Beef Prosperity Burger. Well, it was just a taste that comes out once a year. Took the train home after that. Reached home at 10pm. I was left really tired and sleepy. Overall, today was just an alright day. Aidie blogged @ 8:02 AM |
