Episode: it hurts

Well today there is a match in school. Its SD vs some of Kah Hui's friends. We were not sure who they were, but they played quite well. I was put in the left back position. It was my first time in that position.

Well, the match started soon. Then by the end of the first half, we were losing 4-0. By the end of the match we manage to get one goal back through a penalty kick. At the end of the match, we lost 6-1 and I am left with lots of bruises on my left leg and feet. Yesterday was my right, now my left. Oh man. Through out the match, I had to defend against two or three attackers. They really give me a hard time, but I could only do what I could. I did give my best, especially in the second half. I knew that the game was about to end, so I just dribbled through a handful of players, but only to be stopped by own teammate who took the ball out of my feet.

The match left me with a lot of injuries. It hurts so much. After the match, I got to Dover staircase to finish wrapping up my gal's birthday present. I though that I could meet her at around 8.30pm to give her, but when I messaged her, she was outside with her family.

Then, my dad organised this void deck gathering, as it was for Hari Raya Haji. So, my neighbours came to make the gathering much more lively. Well, I had no choice but to join them straight after bathing. By the time it ended, it was around 9pm. I was tired, but then, my dad left all the stuff at the void deck for me to carry back to our house. It was quite a lot, as I made quite a few trips. He did not help at all. All he did was to chat with the rest of my neighbours there.

I waited for my dad to come home, then I messaged my gal so that we could meet and I could give her the birthday present. Actually, at first she had many variables before deciding to meet me. I had to beg and say please before she agreed to meet up at night. It was very important that I give her the present that night because the letter is about me not being there on her birthday.

It was coincidence that Hari Raya Haji falls on her birthday, so no matter what, I cannot go out with her to celebrate her birthday on the day itself. Anyways, this was her birthday present from me. What is unique about it, is that the present is not in the box, but the present is actually in the wrapper. I hope she figures it out before throwing the wrapper away.


The time now is just past midnight, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear!! I just wish that some time in the near future, we could spend more time with each other. I bet she is opening the present now..hehe.
