Got to class today. I was slightly late, but I guess my attendance was marked. Anyways, today was the brief of our minor assignment. It would be 5weeks long. Hans will be working with us. During the design brief, I did listened, but when it almost ended I was doing my powerpoint. Then I heard the lecturer said that we were to go to the place where we would be designing, I got to the net and looked for the map to the place and send the picture of map to my hand phone. The place is at the Singapore City Gallery at the URA center. It was near to Tanjong Pagar MRT.

We were to be there, at the entrance at 10.30am. We had to use our own mode of transport, at own time and at our own pace. While the rest of the class left early, I was still doing my power point giving it some final touches. Before we head out to the place, I told my group members not to take down notes and simply just enjoy visiting the place for the first time. The reason was to make our first visit an enjoyable one and when they get home, I want them to recall the experiences that they went to. This was to pick out which part of the place leaves an impact to them at the end of the day. Went there with Glenn, Yikai and my group consisting of Saf and Dennis.

At first we walked the wrong way, it led Glenn and Yikai to continue their walk to nowhere. Haha..sorry guys. Then, when we looked at the signs properly, we had to walk the other way. After that, everything was smooth. All the directions towards the place was clear to see. So, we just followed it.

The road signs there are unique.

Walked past a few shops.

Soon, we came to the red dot design museum. I was surprised to find the building here. Then again, I was at Maxwell road. The building is suppose to be there. I really want to check this place out one day.

Soon, we reached the URACentre. To get to the building, we had to cross the road, but the pedestrian crossing was far away. It was a bad experience.

Soon, we got to the place. Even though we got out from our studio late, we were the first team to arrive. Where are the rest I wonder? It was already 10.30am, yet my group was the only one there. Well, there were still on the first floor. When we all gathered, we received this badge. With this badge, I can interview and take pictures at anytime I want, as it would be for our research. But still, I want the I-can-do-anything badge..hehe. Do they have it?

We entered the place at almost 11am. There were many interesting things. I am only going to mention a few. The first thing that really caught everyone's attention was the interactive yet quite funny educational video about Singapore. There were questions, and the people visiting the place can simply answer it by pressing the buttons at the controllers provided.

This was the controller.

Take a look at this. Blinds becoming into one huge viewing screen.

This one, I would like to have at my house. It is a 360 degrees spycam. I spent most of my time here, zooming in and out at the streets around here. It was fascinating to look at what people are doing without them knowing.

Saw this and I had an idea.

Took a picture with the display. It really looks as though I am presenting the news. It does, doesn't it?

This was actually a sign to direct us o the next room. I though of a great idea. I took a picture with this.

Step inside, design your own city..in my nose! Hahaha..

Next there was this huge map of Singapore in model form. Again, I took a picture with it.

I became a monster taking over Singapore! Muahahaha!

Soon, we left the place at around 11.45am. I had GEMs at 1pm. After meeting my gal, we head down to our next class. My GEMs is Introduction to Human Resource Practices. When the class starts and when the lecturer gave us the lecture, I really do not know what was coming out of his business talking mouth. What I did was, put aside my notes and just listened to his lecturer. Soon, it made some sense to me.

For years now, I have not gotten any notes as thick as the ones I got during my GEMs. I know that it is not that thick, but still, I have not gotten such notes for a long time. For the second time, Nas was in the same GEMs class as me. We did not plan this.

I am suppose to be heading off to my CCA training after GEMs, but I had to present something. The powerpoint slides I did was for this day. It started at 3.30pm, and after everything, it ended at 5.30pm.

I rushed down to the hall for training straight after the presentation. They were still having training.

When I arrived, the coach said that training is ending soon. I was there at 5.40pm, training ends at 6pm. I was just there to watch the rest of my team mates train.

Homed after that. I got home, since I had the time, I watched Heroes. Then for the rest of the day, I recorded down about today's visit and then went to sleep. I need sleep, I really do.
