Got up at around 9.30am, got ready for today. I told my gal to meet at 10am, but she came slightly late. This was my the first time seeing her for this month, so I was quite keen. Anyways, we reached Jurong Entertainment at around 10.20am or so. Soon, I saw Wei Lun and Cindy. Next, Wen Zhen came and when we sat at KFC, Saf and Shah came. The last person to arrive was Kok Kit.

We left KFC for the Ice-skating ring. There, I paid $15 for myself and another 15bucks for my gal. Actually, she did not want to skate, but since the entrance fee was $60 for four people with unlimited time and free skates rental, I had to take out the extra 15bucks. If I did not pay for her entrance, the rest of the guys would have to pay more.
Then, we got to the skates rental area. To get the skates, we had to first measure our feet at this neat measuring machine.

Then collect.

Socks were needed, so some of us, well I think all of us bought socks except for me. Wear the socks and then..

Put the skates on.

Before we get into the ice ring, we kept our stuff at the lockers provided.

It was around 11.30am when we slowly stepped into the ice ring.

Took this awesome picture before skating. Everybody seem lively and excited.

At first, we spent our time at the sides of the ice ring. Ok, for all of us, it was our first time ice-skating, even for me. I thought ice-skating was difficult and different from roller blading, but actually, they are the same. Those who had roller blading experience, can ice-skate.

The day was filled with slips and falls.

Especially Kok Kit. He slips quite a few time, so we had to assist him.

I like this picture. Wei Lun and Kok Kit ice-skating together. Both were slipping but somehow with each other's help they did not fall, I guess.

Wen Zhen had a hard time on the ice too, but there were people assisting her.

Soon, there was this announcement made by the operator there. All that I heard were mumbles, but I saw everybody leaving the ice ring to take a seat. I just joined them.

Then, this machine came out to level the ice. It took quite some time to do so.

In the mean time, we just sat down, took a rest looking at the machine or just doing nothing.

After that, we got back to the ice to skate some more. After quite a few times resting and getting back to the ice, some of us just were left tired.

Only at around 3.30pm, we decided to skate one last round together before going off. We did the train, I was the the front. Just imagine a line of eight people, holding each other's shoulder skating round the ice ring. It was fun.

After skating for about four hours, we decided to have lunch. They wanted to go Pizza Hut eat, but after spending $30, I was left with only $4. While they had their meal at Pizza Hut, my gal and I went to IMM's Bagus to have ours. Sorry guys, maybe next time.

This what I had. Nasi ayam. Even this meal was my gal's treat. Thanks dear!

All that skating really left me feeling very tired. The walk home was quite troublesome. I reached home at around 6pm. When I got home, I just took a rest on a chair. By the way, I would like to thank you guys for inviting me to skate. I have always wanted to try ice-skating, but had no one to go with. And I would like to thank my gal for skating, even after she clearly said she does not want to. I really enjoyed my day today. Only three days of holidays left. So, enjoy it.
