Episode: never too late to study
Tuesday, September 16, 2008

See this? Yup, I am studying this. I am just borrowing this book to study, so in the future, hopefully, I will get my own. I have not registered to officially go for theory lessons as I do not enough money. Since I am quite free right now, why not start studying now, it would be my head start.
While most 18 year olds would either get their family members to sponsor, or go get a job to cover the expenses for the lessons, I can't get anyone to sponsor or even that keen to get a job just to get a license before turning 19. It is not that I am lazy to go get a job, its just that I want to focus on my studies, and the holidays that school gives are too short to work. I asked my parents to sponsor me, but it seems very impossible. My elder sister got her license with her own money, so if she knows that my parents are sponsoring me, she will get jealous. My parents are also not hyper on seeing me getting a license. So, if I do get it, it would have to get it myself.

My brother got his license in the army, it was free and he even got paid. Well, he is the lucky ones to get selected to become a driver, but I don't think that I would be lucky. Probably, I would get my license after NS. But for now, lets just concentrate on my studies. During this short holiday, I can use the time to study and better prepare myself to get a license.

The rest of my day is quite boring. Woke up at 1.30pm, watched TV, played games, read the basic theory of driving book and I even read back my first few blog entries. My first few blog entries are very very very meaningful. So, if you guys have time, do read it.

Oh ya, one more thing before I go. I checked my CCA points at SAS, and guess how much I got now? Previously I got 21, now after adding on the Sepak Takraw IVP that we won gold, I got 39. Yup, 39. That is 18 more from what I had. I have a better chance to get in a University now. It does not hurt to get more, so I am aiming to do better in my CCA(not neglecting on my studies) to get selected in the team and win another gold medal. Man, am I hungry for success.
