Episode : a gift from me to you

Yesterday was our 2years 11months being together, but it seems that yesterday I was out with my family. So, today we went out to make up for that day. A few months back, I promised my gal that I would get her a pair of shoes after something ( I am not suppose to mention, yet). Keeping that promise, I asked her to clear this day of any plannings , so that we could go out together. Only then I could ask her to try out some shoes to get her size and then get the shoe for her.

So, the day started like this. I wore the clothes that was bought yesterday, with the shawl and my shades. Soon, I got out of the house at around 2.40 and met my gal a few minutes later.

I do not know if she remembers or not, but our first stop for the day was at IMM to get her the pair of shoes that I promised to get. As we stepped into the mall, I heard a few girls calling my name. I wondered who it was, so as I looked up, I saw Carolyn, Lee Peng and Wee Tyng. What a coincidence. They were there having lunch. I was kind of surprised to see them, especially when they caught me with my gal. I think it is the first time they see me with my gal, hmm..

Anyways, I brought my gal to the Converse shop there. I already knew what I wanted to get for her, as I have been eying on getting it for her since last month. I told her that I was serious about getting her the shoe, but I could see that she was in disbelieve. After she tried wearing the shoe, I told the salesperson that I'll take it. I really looks nice on her. Oh, and I am not going to mention the price..hehe. This was the shoe.



Before we proceed to our next destination, I introduced Carolyn, Lee Peng and Wee Tyng to my gal. They were still eating there. I asked them where they are heading after eating lunch, then they said they were going to try the fish spa. Before going off, I apologised to them that I could not make it for the upcoming BBQ. Maybe next time, k guys?

Our next destination took us to take the MRT to City Hall. We searched for the Coleman street bus-stop and got there by 4pm. We were waiting for the shuttle bus to the Singapore Flyer. We had to wait for quite a long time for the shuttle bus to arrive. Soon, it arrived.

I thought that this was the shuttle bus. But it was not to be. It is too good to be true. When the bus stopped a bit further in front, the bus conductor told us that this was not the shuttle bus and the actual one would come soon. So, we waited again.

After a total of one hour, the shuttle bus finally arrived. It looks crappy. Well, that is what a shuttle bus should look like. When it is on the way to the Singapore Flyer, we took note on where it was going, so that when we want to walk there, we would know how.

Finally, we arrived at the Singapore Flyer.

The place seemed small from where we were. Just like tourists, we, well I was taking pictures of almost everything there. All in all, there are three levels of the Mall at the Singapore Flyer, the first two levels are open to public, but when I looked from the second floor, it seems that the third level is only for those who have tickets to ride the Singapore Flyer.

We took some time to look at the capsules. My gal got to discover how each capsule is able to rotate in its journey. When we took a closer look at one of the capsule, there was a wedding dinner or some sort in it. It was kind of cool. Maybe one day, we would get to ride the Singapore Flyer together. But for now...

we explored the Yakult Rainforest Discovery.

It was just like a jungle. We almost got lost in there.

NOT! Haha..It was just like a small weaving walk path with lots of plantations. It was very relaxing when we wondered there. We could even see the capsules up close from below. There were ponds filled with fishes and even some turtles.







Before we went off, we walked around the place to see the shops available there. While we were at the second floor, we came to this balcony where the under construction F1 pit stop can be clearly seem. Nice! After that, since we knew where we are, we walked back to City Hall MRT via the Esplanade.

While we were walking towards the bridge next to the Esplanade, we saw smoke. It looked like those cold smoke. Then, when we get closer, there was this bunch of Bangladeshi worker doing some maintainence of some sort, I was not sure. But I saw this pipe blowing smoke into a drain thus creating this beam of unscented smoke, providing the effect. A couple with their photographer took the opportunity to pose and take some pictures.

When we got the MRT, we head down to Vivo City. Stopped at Harbour Front and made our was towards Banquet. We had our break fast there. When it was about time to break fast, people started to queue up to buy food and drinks. So, just imagine the long queues. When I was queuing to buy drinks, dates were given for free, so I took some. When we were there, I saw a very recognizable face from afar. It was Edmushyta's drummer. He was with one girl, I am not sure who that was, but I sense that she is his girlfriend. Both of them knew my gal, so when they sat right in front of us, it was slightly awkward. Anyways, after we had our dinner together, we went home.

Got home at around 9+. Took the train home. Before we went our separate ways, my gal thanked me for the shoe once again. I wonder when will I go out with her again, as I really had a great time with her today.
