Episode: hard at work

Not forgetting, today was my gal and myself special day. It was our 2years and 10months being together. It was unfortunate to have this day packed with work to do and as well as modules to study. Well, today was yet another day in school where I spent most of my time in the workshop. Yesterday, the CNC machine was cutting the beverage bottle and today, I get to see the finished cutting piece. It was so awesome and smooth, but to take it out I had to vacuum it first.

After that, I went to cut it out. I also cut out my communication device out from its frame.

Since no one else was going to use the CNC machine for the rest of the day, we took the opportunity to cut two more pieces. It took hours. The second piece was put in at 11am, and by the time we left school, it was around 8pm and the second piece have not finished cutting yet. We let it to cut overnight, so by tomorrow we can get three pieces. We need four in total. The forth one have to wait as the rest of the class need to use the CNC machine as well.

Then, we tested out on the simulation of the bubbly effect by cutting a 1cm acrylic. The file for the laser cutter was done by me yesterday. In the end, we got his to show for the simulation of the bubbly effect. After which, we cut out the actual piece that we wanted.

Other than cutting and shaping things for our assignments, we also consulted our lecturers on the packaging, its design, the point of sales, what material to buy and the layout plus themes of the Colour, Material and Finishing board. Before we go home, we had a debrief on what we had done today and what we should be doing when we get home and what to expect to do tomorrow.

I do believe that this group that I am in is really awesome and I could not have asked for such awesome teamwork from my teammates. Like the M1 commercial says, "You guys are good..", queue two thumbs up and jerking the body.
