Episode: the day has come
Monday, August 25, 2008

This was how I look like when I went out to school. Must look nice today, as today is the day that I will be having presentations. I may say that I look very snazzy myself..hehe. Not bad right?

Came in to the studio looking like a star..hehe. I came at around 8. After awhile, my group members and myself went down to the food court to ask the stall aunties for some juice samples and fruit syrup for our work. We also bought 100plus to mix it up later. Sounds like fun? Yup, it was.

These were the sample juices and fruit syrup that we got. From the bottom to top is peach syrup, apple syrup, orange juice and another orange juice and lastly lemon juice.

Another thing we need to test was the level of gases that the vitamin C tablets will make if reacts with 100plus. So, we first poured in the 100plus in the simulation container.

Then we put in the vitamin C tablets at the tip and pushed it in. Surprisingly, we found out that with 100plus compared to plain water, the water level only rose up a bit due to the reaction.

It gives out such a wonderful colour, smell and the sizzling sound.

Then, we tried the taste test. With the 100plus, together with the fruit syrup and juices, we mix them up. We had to the first to taste it.

The lemon was zesty, the orange taste natural, the peach taste nice, but not compared the apple, which was the best.

Then, after settling the taste, we packed it up as samples for our presentation later.

Back at the studio, we had to submit the communication device and the 30 mundane pictures before 10. Only me and a few classmates did, while the rest we considered as a non submission. Sad right? After all that work they put on, it counts to nothing if it is not on time.

Still got time before my group's presentation, so I took photo of my handsome self, while the rest of my classmates were like rushing to complete their final touches to their assignment.

I forgot about the indemnity form to go for a field trip tomorrow had to be handed in today, so I called up my dad and asked whether I could forge it. He said it was fine, so I did.

I just signed anyhow.

Then, my group members and myself took some group photos, before going for lunch. Too bad the pictures are not with me. We wore the same, white top with black jeans, all three of us. I had Murutabak for lunch. It was filling.

Soon, the presentations started. I was there when the second group gave out their presentation.

It was almost 3pm, our presentation was next. But before that, we need to set everything up while the other group is presenting. We had our four bottles, the simulation set, out point of sales, poster, taste test..

two A2 presentation boards, one A2 persona board, and...

three two A3 sized CMF(colour material and finishing) board.

The presentation went alright, one said that it is very good, while the other said that it was practical. Well, all in all, we did not get questions shot at us, I guess they were satisfied with everything. Almost reaching the end, we almost forgot to show our packaging of four in our presentation. Thanks to the lecturer for reminding us.

This was Ivan's noodle product. Nice la bro!

The presentations ended at around 5 I guess, but I had to go down to the Moberly BBQ pit to look after the food and stuff, so I did not get to see the last group's presentation.

Yup, BBQ@Moberly during when the rest of the school is having their exams. I tell you, this design course I am in, cannot get any better than this. I saw the bill for the BBQ, and the total cost for feeding 80 students was $800. Woohoo! I wonder who is paying.

Anyways, after weeks of work and more work, plus days of not sleeping, we had fun @Moberly.

The food came early. But the class have not come down yet. Lets take a look at the food closer..

Yeah! Here it is. Yummy! All the food is nice, simply because it is free..hehe.

I went up to the studio to check on what is taking my classmates very long. When I reach there, they were cleaning up their table and was printing their portfolio submissions for tomorrow. So, I went back down, but I saw this on the way down. As you can see, we have so many assignments for this past week, all pasted on this board. I could not believe that we have finished it all.

Back to the BBQ. These were my group members. It seemed that we were ready for the BBQ. Straight after the presentation, Carolyn changed to a much comfortable clothing, same goes to Lee Peng and myself. I wore a black shirt and shorts. It was totally different from the clothes I wore this morning.

Did you know that the BBQ pits @Moberly have heat only after paying 20cents for every 15minutes? So, when we are cooking, we have to have plenty of 20cents ready by our side. The heat was not strong at all, it took so long to just get a chicken cooked. Over there, there were four pits, our course booked all four of it. Two for year one, and two for year two.

Look at Ivan enjoying cooking the chicken.

We BBQ till late night.

I spent most of my time taking the sting ray and cooking it, as it was my favourite. I even cooked extra for my group members and Edwin our lecturer. Out of all four pits, the year one malay side was the most productive, producing a lot of cooked food. The year two pit one was the most noisy pit, as they were having fun fighting for the food, but it was more like playing with it.

After everything, we had to clean up the pits. I cleaned up the year one malay pit, as I spent most of my time there. Before we went home, all the Malays gather and just chilled and sang some songs while Ren played the guitar. Ren was like very skilled on the guitar. Nice!

At around almost 10, we started going home. Saw this on the way home. There is a sale going on at SP. A G2000 warehouse sale. But it was closed, so maybe tomorrow morning it would open.

Got home, I had to do my portfolio, as I have not done mine. Well, it is simply choosing my best works and print it out. I stayed up until now( time: 3am), to catch a soccer match. Manchester United and Pompy, I think.. Well I got to go. Match started already.
