Episode: this is what a design school should be; fun

The first class was at MM. When I came, the person there told me that the venue had changed. So, I went over to the new venue. I thought that there were test involved, but in the end it was just another lesson.

Well, we get to learn about injection molding. The machine was huge, but all it does is come up with pencil cases. We had to learn about the conditions of the machine and how it works. The lecturer had a smile throughout his lesson, but his voice hardly came out.

These were the few pencil cases that came out from the injection molding machine. We did took some home as souvenirs. It was nice.

This is how they do printing on the items made. The printing machine first put the yellow color, followed by the red and the black color. Why these colors? It was because it was printing the SP logo on it.
Then, Ivan, Glenn, Yikai and myself went up to food court 6 to grab a meal. Over there, there were a lot of small shops. One of those sell this dancing cow. It captured Ivan's attention. Believe it or not, they bought it. It cost them $18. The guy selling these were wearing the same glasses as mine. Nice.

Then history class was next. This time, Faris came to give out the lecture. It was always fun to have him. He is such a funny guy who never fails to make us laugh.

Soon, it was my group's presentation. We were doing about the Ethics of food. Rather than any other presentation, we did a talk show complete with commercials and all. I was one of the guest and Jazz was the host. When all the presentations ended, the comments we received was that we were looking at the paper we had and the feeling of a talk show was reduced. Another comment was that we was not loud enough. Well, I used the microphone, but Jazz and Ying Ying did not. But I do believe that we did a great job in presenting something different and to a point not boring.

Had to go to my grandma's house after school to meet my mom. It was raining when I walked towards her house. My elder sister was there too. When I reached there, I ate some pancakes and was planning on doing my sketches for the Muji and 50+, but I fell asleep.

Got home at around 7+ I guess. After a bath, I did my work. This time, I had to take out the camera in one of my old hand phones. As I was looking through the phone, I looked at the pictures and also at the saved messages in the phone.

I read back those sweet messages that my gal had sent to me in the first few months of our relationship, and I find it was very very touching. Wished that I would receive more in the future.

In the end, I took out the camera out from my 1st hand phone (K500i). It was very interesting how they put up the pieces together to produce such a phone. Played around with the camera when it is dangling. I twisted it to an angle that it has a video call camera. It was cool. Soon, I took out the part that I needed. That part would be the piece that would be pasted onto my high quality communication device.

One last thing, my dad bought some durians for us to eat after dinner. Now my house is filled with the stench of durians. But, its was okay, as I seem to have gotten blocked nose..haha.

After eating, I did up my Rhino 3D modeling, but this time adding the slot for the camera, the speaker and the battery at the back. I still need to consult my lecturer on how to make it tomorrow. But, before that, I need some sleep.
