Got to school, I was on the way when I noticed this. Take a look.

Take a closer look..

You can find this at Jurong East MRT, the platform that is towards Pasir Ris. Yup, the fine was reduced from $5000 to $500.

Anyways, I thought that today was to go to MM, so I went to the T12. I went in looking for my classmates, but they were not there. I was wondering where they went off to. So, I called Ivan. He told me that he is in the studio. How embarrassing. Today was suppose to be having class in the studio, but I went elsewhere.

In the studio, I showed my lecturer my new Muji design. It was the disposable bin made from paper. It was turned down as it was not Eco-friendly. I was running out of time. Most people had already moved on to their presentation pages, while I was still in 'Aidieation' stage.

The lecturer gave me an hour to think of a new design. So, what I did was to look at my pencil case, and look at the stationeries that I have and start to recall on the ways that I use them. I came up with a few, but I chose the ruler concept. It was accepted. I was glad that I could move on.

The next stage, I had to take pictures of the existing ways that people use the ruler. I did, using Carolyn's digicam. Thanks Carolyn. Then I started to lay the pictures and descriptions down on the presentation board.

Had CRS presentation just now. Our group was the first group. It took us a very long time to set up. It was due to the speakers that were inconveniently not working at that time. In the end, we had to show our videos using the laptop's speakers which were not loud. Our presentation went quite alright to me. The questions and answer part was actually the one that I liked, as I found that I could answer most of the questions that were thrown at us. After that I went back to the studio.

Back to doing Muji. I thought it was better to make a mock up for the product page. In the end, I did. I did up the Illustrator drawing and sent it to cut at the workshop. With my lecturer's help, I get to make the ruler by using the laser cutting machine. It engraves the number and lines, and then cut the shape of the ruler.

Then, I ran to the photo studio to take pictures of the product that I had made. It looks great! At that time, Icy was doing her photo shoot too.

For the first time, I stayed in school until around 9. I was really really glad every time I look at the ruler design that I had made. My lecturer gave a comment, saying that the concept and design was strong. The little detail that I put in my ruler really made the difference. I still could not believe that in one day, I could almost finish a design. From 'Aideation' all the way to making the product.

Reached home at around 9.30, had my first and only meal for the day and then got back in doing my work. Still lots left, so I got to get going.
