Episode: family picnic

Yup, for the second time in a row, I am having a picnic. This time with my family, at East Coast Park. By 9+ we got out of the house. Reached there, we set up the tent and soon ate.


I wonder off to the futsal area to take a look of people playing, but as soon as I stepped near the place, it was covered with red ants, big ones. So, I scram.


My parents went for a walk around there. In the mean time, this is what I did.


When my parents got back, it was my turn to check out the place. My parents said that there was a carnival or something over that side, so my sister and I go check it out. My younger sister went to sleep.

When we reach the place, there were many events happening. I think it was Samsung's product promotion, together with the inline skating race. There were inflatable maze, bungee thingy, and lots of other mini games.


Over there, I saw this archery booth. I immediately queued up for it, since it was free. I have tried archery before, so my aiming was superb. Even the guy said I was awesome. Hey, of course, I have been aiming ever since I was a child. Check me out.


My sister tried it too. For her first time, she is not that bad.


After that, we made our way to the Samsung booth. Over there, there was Guitar Hero on for a try. I have never played the game before, so I gave it a go. My score was 90%. Woohoo! My sister did not do well. She flunked in the game.


When we were playing Guitar Hero, there was a stage nearby. Guess who was performing? It was Olynn, from Live The Dream. She was the one who was the first solo contestant to go in the competition. It was sad, because her voice is awesome. I took a picture of her from afar, but them my sister called her up, so that we could take a close up picture with her. Cool man!


Those who want to hear her sing, go to CHJIMES.. Then, we went back to the tent. My younger sister missed it all, as she was asleep. Then, my sister wanted to go McDonald's to try the new Green Tea McFlurry. So, we head out again, but this time in skates. Hers were big, and there were no smaller size. Another thing, she is not a pro on skates, so I had to watch over her all the way to McDonald's.

When we got there, we saw a no entry sign for skaters, so we head back. Since, we still have an hour left for the rented skates, my sister lend it to my younger sister to use. Yup, she was awake this time. Then, out to skate again. I showed my younger sister around the Samsung place.

Brought her to the Archery place, but it was closed. She get to play Guitar Hero though.


Afterwards, I tried going in McDonald's to get a taste of the Green Tea McFlurry. There was this skate thru path. I did not notice it earlier. It cost $2.50. Well, it tastes like a normal McFlurry, but there is a slight green tea taste at the end. To me, its just ok.

Got back, and saw my parents taking a dip by the sea shores. It was almost time, so we returned the skates back. Before the day end, we as a family played Frisbee. Then, we packed up, and head home. Reached home at around 5.

It was an great day. Love my family a lot. Yesterday watched movie and today, a picnic. Awesome to a whole new level..hehe.
