Episode: 50+ workshop day four (final day)
Thursday, June 19, 2008

Finally, the last day. It has been a tiring and yet a beneficial workshop. The 50+ came with the ideas, and order us around to make it visually visible for the presentation at the end of the day. Well, yesterday, though I was sleepy I did manage to draw out some of the 'Aidieas". Only today morning, I came and colour it.

Out of nowhere, the talkative 50+ came and blabber about a luggage that has a pull out seat for the 50+. I can understand the concept and how she arrive from to it, but she just repeats what she said. It was irritating. The worst part is when she was trying to explain her concept using my copic marker bag. What happened was that, she tried to show the pushing of the luggage on my copic marker bag, and it knocked down a cup of coffee, spilling it all over the table and onto the floor. How clumsy. In the end, I really smell the coffee in the morning. I just did the luggage sketch, just to make her happy.

Then, we scanned the drawings and put all the information into the computer and did a powerpoint slide. It was for the final presentation.

This is a picture of my group. Group 10. That is me on the left, followed by Mr and Mrs Tin, at the back was Christina and last but not least Elsie the can't stop talking one.

Then, we had to print out the slides that we created and pin it outside the lecture theater,
It was soon time for the presentation. Other groups also have wonderful 'Aidieas'. Though we were only given five minutes for our presentation, some went overboard. My team was next, and guess who was the talker? Yup, it was that same blabber mouth. There is no surprise that she would go more than 10 minutes overboard.

When I was sitting back at my place, suddenly Syafiq called me out of the lecture theater. He was the one chosen to be interviewed by the media in malay for Suria channel. But he told me that he kept on stuttering and had took many takes for it. In the end, my face was right in front of the camera and was interviewed. Poor Syafiq. Even though I was only given one take, I guess my answer to the question in Malay was slightly out. Looking forward to see my interview on Suria channel news..hehe.

The whole workshop came to an end. We all had a group picture and of course, some food before we go.

Got home at around 6+. I fell asleep when I was reading a book. Woke up, waited for the news to start. I watched the whole 30 minutes of the news, waiting for my interview, but in the end there was no news about this 50+ workshop at all.
