Today was about pressing a button with my index finger while looking through a hole. Yes, the whole day is about photography. Early in the morning, for Visualisation and communication module, we were taught the basics of photography.

When the lecturer taught us during class, I already knew about apertures and shutter speed, as I took basic photography as one of my sports development programme last year with my gal. It was interesting to recall back what was taught. At the end of the lesson, we were put to groups and was assigned to one Nikon SLR each. As I already have so much in my hands, I did not become the group leader, thus I am not responsible on taking care of the SLR for this week. When we got our SLR, I quickly pose with it and took this picture.

It was so cool.
Anyways, we were given the SLR for a short field trip around the school. We were assigned to take pictures that has depth of field, use different shutter speed, aperture and apply the rule of thirds. So, we went out and went for picture hunting. Its play time.

When playtime gets tiring, we went back to our studio and upload the pictures into our laptops. Most pictures were crap, as we were given an SLR that has a spoilt shutter. Thus, making those pictures overexposed. We tried adjusting the aperture and shutter speed, but nothing happened. We wanted to try pressing something else, but were afraid that it could make us cough out our cash. All in all, the activity was fun.
When taking pictures was over, I decided to go home. On the way out, I saw this on the studio security camera. It looks just like the Matrix. Take a look at the top left screen.

Got home at around 3.30. Then, I went down once to buy stuff for my family. I went down again soon after, but this time I had to take pictures of people drinking or having beverages. I did that, as to understand how people consume their liquids. With my camera around my neck, I went around my area to take pictures.

I had to become just like a paparazzi to take the shots. I did many sneaky moves to get photos of people in their natural state. One of the most sneaky photo I took was when I pretend to talk on the phone using one hand to hold my phone and the other to snap around. The picture below was taken when I was across the street. I had to zoom in, and snap the shot quickly.

Went home, after an hour and few hundred meters of walking around my area. Today, took pictures using my hand phone, using my family's digicam and that SLR that was loaned from school. Whole day of taking pictures made me tired.
