Episode: being too dedicated to work

Being principal designer for class 01 of DXDIP, I had to collect soft copies of my classmates work. It was difficult to go after each and every one of them for their work. Today, was the day where every one of my classmates went down to the workshop to do up their model. The studio only had around a handful of people. Well, I did went down to the workshop, but to do the packaging of my product. Used lazer cutter to cut the acrylic sheets. It was cool. Take a look.


The end product, after pasting the sides and printed out the layout straight away we did it, it looked something like this.

Cool right? All of this, my group did within a few hours. The presentation board was printed yesterday.Well, I got home with my gal to put my bag and to go for prayers at Ar-raudhah. Then, I brought lacquer and adhesive spray back to school after that, to paste down the printed layout onto the acrylic. After that, sat in the studio, collected both classes soft copies. Most did not rename their files accordingly, so I renamed it for them. It took me some time. Then at 6 I went to the takraw hall to say that I am sick and unable to train. Then, met my elder sister to borrow money to buy acrylic sheet for my product, as I only had 2 bucks in my wallet. Met her at Dover MRT, then I went off to Orchard MRT, go to Takashimaya's Art Friend.

I was sick, tired, hot, sleepy and hungry. I still went there. In the end, the place did not sell the 5mm thick acrylic sheet that I was looking for. But I saw this though. It's my favorite. If I had all of this, my works would be way better.


Went home with food and sleep on my mind. Dragged my feet towards the MRT home. Saw 7-eleven, went in and bought Corntos, sat outside to finish eating it before I made a move home.

In the MRT, I sat down on the floor in between the cabins and fell asleep. When I woke up, the next stop was Jurong. Upon hearing that, I know my stomach would be filled soon with my mom's cooking. She cooked fried chicken and had promenade juice to quench my thirst. I feast till my heart content. After that, I took a rest. One last work to do tomorrow, do up my product. And that assignment is done.
