School was alright. We actually did nothing much except for our 50+ models. Today, was the last day that the workshop is open before our submission. It was opened only until 12noon, as unfortunately today is a half day in SP. I only managed to cut a few pieces of my materials. There is a high chance that I might not finish the assignment. Anyways, at around 12.30pm, I went home with my gal. I put down my bag and tried to switch on my laptop to do work. Somehow my photoshop is unable to work properly. Restart my laptop, but when I am at the desktop, it hung. How am I going to do work now? Then, John called me to say that the workshop is opened but only the top floor that has the laser cutter and CNC machines. I machines that I need to use was on the bottom floor and it is locked. Since I can do nothing, I got to the workshop to just use the laser cutter to cut a rectangular shape. 30minutes later, I got there. It was not a good idea to laser cut a PVC, as it burns and gives out highly toxic gases and product brown dust.  That was it. I just got back to school for that. Then, I head down to the studio. There were a few poeple there. After a while, Ven, Cher and myself walked to the hardware store. There, I bought sandpaper, a saw, spray paint and screws. Before going home, we had bubble tea. Woohoo! Awesome.. Anyways, the stuff that I bought at the hardware store was really handy. I manage to cut out more pieces and my model is coming into shape.  Then, after doing as much that I could, I thought of doing the 3D modeling and the boards. It was the second time of the day that I switched on my laptop and I was entertained with this. For hours. I could have my dinner, blog and rest for a while, but the screen could only show this. I just got back my laptop, hopeing to do work when I got it back and now, two days later this crap was given to me. I suspect that the Acer guy who was fixing my laptop secretly injected in viruses into my laptop, as a business plan, so that I would go back to the Acer building and spend more money on repairing my laptop. Come on la, I would rather buy a new laptop(not Acer, MacBook probably) and spend my money printing millions of flyers that says, " Do not buy Acer laptops, you would probably spend more than the price stated," and give a very detailed information about it. (just see the queue at the service center. Everyday there is always a long queue. It shows that people come to complain about their Acer products, everyday.) I officially hate Acer. Who is with me? Now, because of this my work is slightly delayed. Thanks Acer. Making my 50+ model is another worry. The workshop will only open after the submission. So, for now I have to craft my 50+ model by hand and try to make it look High Quality. Can it be done? Well, I am Aidie..hehe. Aidie blogged @ 5:43 AM |
