With my laptop surviving with only it battery, during LEGO class, I used Glenn's laptop to do today's work. We tried and tried, but we realised that when there is too many programs in one NXT, it cannot really work. After some time, we just stopped doing the programming, and played with the LEGO. It was very fun.

Class ended at 10am. Then I went to Acer building to get my laptop fixed. At first, I did not know that it would be a waste of time. Then I got off to Jurong East and walked there.

After some time, I reached the place.

The information counter seems to have no receptionist. Then as I walked around, I saw this small printed paper that said service centre.

The more I explore, the more I get to find where the place is.

It suddenly shows the service centre is outside.

Then, the arrow shows that the place is back inside the building. What is this? Going there is already a bad experience. I reach the place at tower B, then head down to tower B, from tower B, I have to find the service centre myself which is outside and then led me back inside.

I got the queue number. At that time, it was number 1021.

My number is 1038.

It was my turn two hours later. I met John and his gal. His gal had some problems with the laptop. Anyways, I sent my laptop for repair. The bit that was spoilt was the SMALL pin that is connected to the laptop that helps in recharging the laptop and giving it power is disconnected.

The guy said that he cannot simply paste it back, so I had to purchase the part that is connected to the SMALL pin. That cost me $30. To fix it, was $80. And if I were to ask him to repair it on the spot, it would be another $100. A total of $210, for that SMALL pin. What the F*** la. So, I decided to simply let him fix it within seven days. It was settled, and the cost would be $110 before GST.
I was on the way out of the building, I called my dad. He was furious at how expensive the cost to fix the whole thing. He was alright with the cost of the part which was $30, but the labour cost ($80) seemed too much to him. He told me to get it back. So, I head back to the guy and asked if I could just buy the part, but they said that Acer do not sell parts and let customers to fix it themselves. Then, I just took back my laptop.

I simply wasted my time, walking there, find my way to the service centre, waited for hours for my turn, bring my heavy laptop there and taking it back in the end. I am tired, pissed off and heading back home to place my laptop after that.
At home, I just ate some stuff and then at around 3.30pm head off to meet Ivan. At the same time, I meet up with my gal. She was on her way to do her test paper, so I thought of meeting her. Truthfully, I miss her a lot. The feeling of emptiness begins to fill me up.
So, I met Ivan at Somerset and then did our assignment. We only start to do our work today. Took some pictures related to the assignment.

It rained soon after.

We basically swept through town.

It was around 7pm, we were tired, especially me. Before going home, we ate at Far East's KFC.

Had the buddy meal. At the same time we discussed about work. Well, I feel as though this is a beginning of a good partnership.

Reached home at 9pm. I am really sleepy, but work is work and I do not want this last group assignment to go to waste. So, I want to give my all this time.
