Episode: my sister's birthday

As usual, we wake up for Sahur at around 5am. Wondering what Sahur is? Well, it is something like a strategy to last the whole day of fasting. We would wake up in the morning before fasting for the day starts and eat up, so we would have the energy for the day.

After that, did not go back to sleep as I usually do. Instead, I did this. This is for my hand phone wallpaper. I also did the other half, so when both are used in different phones, when put side by side, you would see the whole picture. This is my version.

I went to sleep after that. At 10.30am woke up again. This time, we went out to Causeway Point. We were there to get some new clothes for me.

As usual, girls being girls, they do not go to the shop straight. There must always be a detour to the shops on the way to there.

My mom saw some curtains for Hari Raya. She could not decide which one to choose, so she asked me to take pictures of the two curtains. My sister was the sales model.


Only after that we went searching for clothes to buy. We went in John Little, and whatever that I find nice, I just pick it up. All in all, I got 3 formal shirt, 1 chill shirt, and 2 jeans where one is in dark grey and the other is light brown. Before going home, I went to this electronic shop and bought the Sony click thumbdrive, just like what Carolyn has. But mine is 2Gigabyte. It is green in colour and it cost me $21.

Then, I was sent home. My mom and sister go shop for other things. So, I left carrying all my new clothes and not forgetting the thumbdrive. On the way home, I was quite impatient to see the thumbdrive. I kept on trying to open it, but I was unsuccessful. Had to go home and use a penknife to open it.



So, it was no surprise that when I get home, I quickly put down all my stuff, grab my penknife and opened it up. When I tried it on my laptop, I was astonished by flickering green LED light, and of course, the clicking concept.


Then after all the fun and laughter, my mom and sister got home. An hour or so, we went out to West Mall to get something for my elder sister's birthday present. We have absolutely no idea on what to get for our sister. So, I suggested that we get a pencil box or a wallet.

In the end, we got this green pencil box, as our sister adores green. Then I suddenly thought, since our sister had graduated, she would have no use of a pencil box. My younger sister who was with me, starts getting upset about purchasing something that in the end is not going to be of any use. Then, my brilliant brain cracked an 'Aidiea'. I ask myself, why must a pencil box hold stationaries? It could also hold make up stuff. Yeah! Then, to wrap it up, instead of using the usual wraping paper, we bought green socks so wrap it up. Then, another 'Aidiea' came to my mind. I though of giving my elder sister some chocolates, but not those usual chocolates.

Went to Guardian, bought my hair wax and this Cadbury chocolate with green mint inside it. The funny part begins when I was going to pay for all the things. The sales assistant was this malay girl, and when I was giving her the money, I accidentally gave her a movie ticket..haha. I said to my sisiter in malay, "Hey, what this? Give movie ticket to her for what?". Since I was talking to my sister in malay, the sales assistant knew what we were talking about and I could see that she had a smile on her face.

Then, my sister went to KFC to buy our break fast, while I went down to Shop n Save to buy one last chocolate to complete my ingredients list. The KFC at west mall was given a face lift. It looks much better.

When we got home, we set up everything on the table. As usual, the table was full with food. At the same time, with the chocolates that I bought, I started doing up my master piece. After that, I let it harden in the fridge.

When it was time to break fast, I ate and I ate. All in all, I ate 3 pieces of chicken, 2 slices of pizza, some fries, some nuggets, and plenty of water. After that, we rest for a while before start celebrating my sister's birthday celebration. That is when I ate another 2 slices of cake. The cake was a cheese cake.

My elder sister turns 26 this year. Wish her a very happy birthday and all the best in looking for a life partner..haha.

After the cake cutting session, I brought out the birthday present, and my younger sister help to take out the chocolate creation that I just did. This is how it looked like.

My concept was an edible mushoom. Where the base is made out from Cadbury chocolate mint and the sprouts itself made from Kit Kat. It tasted quite ok. The picture below is the green can/bottle drink that my younger sister bought for my elder sister. The other green thing is the birthday present that we got for her. Simply to say, everything is designed within our budget..hehe.

After the whole celebration ended, my stomach was very full. Well, I do agree that I eat more during the fasting month rather than just any other month. Today, when I am going online, my gal was online too. As I am blogging, she chat with me. Well, even chatting on MSN was quite rare. After sometime, I found out that she was actually waiting for me go online. She had been very sweet this few days. Yesterday she called me and we talked for hours, today she messaged me in the afternoon(usually only night messages) and tonight, she did this. I do like these things she is doing, hopefully it does not die off.
